Chairman of FNCCI Employers council requests SAARC investors to invest in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Chairman of Employers council of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI)’s Employers Council, Chandra Prashad Dhakal has requested the employers and investors of the SAARC region to invest in Nepal.
In his address to the eighth meeting of the South Asian Forum of Employers in New Delhi, he mentioned that Nepal has guaranteed appropriate laws related to labor and social security which have led to the establishment of cordial relation between employers and workers and the political atmosphere is also suitable for the same. He added that the Government of Nepal was committed to building an investment-friendly atmosphere for foreign investors.
On the occasion, he invited the SAARC’s investors to the Investment Conference that Nepal is hosting next month and to identify better and probable areas for investment. Dhakal who is also the FNCCI vice-president said the building of investment-friendly atmosphere was expected in Nepal with the establishment of a stable government in the aftermath of long political transition. He took a time to urge foreign investors to invest in Nepal’s agriculture, tourism, energy and service sectors for the attainment of bilateral and multilateral benefits.
