Chairman of NAC Kedar Bahadur Adhikari urges to make administrative reform in NAC

KATHMANDU, Feb 14: Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Kedar Bahadur Adhikari has taken over the Chair of the Directorate Committee of the Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC).
Taking charge, Chairman Adhikari said the NAC should increase its competitive capacity as tourism business is in intense competition in the world. He expressed his belief that the Ministry will always be supportive and active in resolving any obstacles that may arise in relation to the interests of the corporation.
He said that the government is investing in NAC as well. Though it is being considered by the government, it is possible to think about changing the model in the future if the achievement is considered complete. He also urged the NAC to pay attention to the fact that administrative reforms were necessary in the NAC as investors would invest on the basis of confidence of improvement.
On behalf of the NAC, Acting General Manager Ganesh Bahadur Chand said that the experienced and qualified secretary corporation received the chairman and wished success of his tenure, saying that the progress of the institution was assured.
