Chandra Prasad Dhakal says “Nepal is the major destination for investment in tourism sector”

KATHMANDU, Nov 12: The chairman of IME group and Vice Chairman of the Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chandra Prasad Dhakal said that Nepal is the major destination for investing in tourism sector. In the session, there was a participation of representatives of China.

Chairman Dhakal stated that the Chinese Adventure Tourism forum has presented its concept as the main speaker in 'Himalayan Summit' organized in the capital. Recognizing the historical and cultural relations of Nepal and China, he said that a skillful trained young manpower is required in Nepal to provide proper infrastructure and to provide international service.

Dhakal said that Nepal is the center of unique, natural and cultural heritage, while Mount Everest and Buddha are the main attractions of the world's tourist. Due to this huge potential, Dhakal has urged the world investors to invest in many new areas of Nepal, because of the current stability of government in Nepal, Nepal is building safe environment for investment.

Nepalese private sector is always ready to cooperate with the people to promote religious and cultural tourism, Chairman emphasized that all the attention should be given in the development of tourism industry to create great employment opportunities. Giving praise to the growing number of tourists coming from China and India, Nepalese private sector is ready to utilize the benefits of harmony and cooperation of the two neighboring nations.
