Chandragiri Hill : A milestone for economic development

KATHMANDU: The secretory of communist party of China, Tang Liangzhi, has made an unofficial visit to Chandragiri hill.
The team led by Liangzi was welcomed by the Chairman, Chandra Prasad Dhakal, and general manager, Abhishek Bikram Shah, of Chandragiri Hills Limited.
The team included Wai Machilin, the president of people’s congress of Tibet, and Fang Jun, senior engineer at Sino Hydro Bureau, along with two dozens of officials.
Introducing the infrastructures built at Chandragiri, chairman Chandra Dhakal stated that Private sectors in Nepal can learn much from the rising economy of its neighboring country, China and also believed to utilize the opportunities created.
Liangzi emphasized that he was impressed with the integrated tourist destination built in Chandragiri and believed such large scale projects will certainly hasten the economic growth of Nepal in coming days. Liangzi, also the former Mayor of Chengdu, has signed a memorandum of understanding between Kathmandu metropolis and Sichuan province of China to formalize the sister city relationship.
