Chief Minister of Province 4 claims Pokhara can attract 2 million tourists

KATHMANDU, Mar 04: Chief Minister of Province 4, Prithivi Subba Gurung claimed in a program on Friday that Pokhara can attract 2 million tourists. "If we can create tourist hub in Pokhara there will be no difficulties in inviting 2 million tourists in Pokhara," he said, "Pokhara should be the hub of tourism in order to preserve the condition of the lake, construction of the international airport and highway connections with Pokhara."

Chief Minister Gurung announces the Province 4 to be peaceful, quiet, decent and prosperous. Gurung said that three basic human rights humanity, nationality and civilization will be implemented in the State 4. He said, "Now the slogan will be my country, my people." His statement was to keep industrialization and internal revenues in priority.Gurung complained that the state government had to start from zero now. "The state government has an obstacle to start work from zero," he said, "there is no policy, no law, no budget." There is a challenge with the state government to make the first policy and law in order to enrich the fields of agriculture, education, industry, tourism.
