China issues safety advisory for its citizens

KATHMANDU, June 24: China's Chongqing Municipality has released 'Travel Advice Notice' for a number of Chinese citizens traveling to Nepal. Recalling the heavy flood caused in the previous year, they have warned their citizens to stay alert. In the notice, it has urged people to stay alert as there is lack of security.
According to the information taken by notice, while visiting Nepal in the rainy season, the security measures are being taken to increase alertness, to adopt measures, to focus on local weather and to focus on traffic security.
Also, if there is any person willing to participate in the touristic program like Kayaking, and Rafting they should be very alert and in case any problems arises they are requested to contact with the Nepalese security officials or Chinese Embassy in Nepal. In the past year, more than 100 Chinese tourists have been the victim of a flood. Due to frequent rain, even in the tourist area, serious geographical disasters were also caused. The release has issued a direct warning to individual and structural security challenges.
Chongqing Municipality, located in Southwestern China, is a municipality growing rapidly with the tourist culture. China-based four municipal corporations are Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, and Chongqing. More than three million people live in the slopes.
