Chinese Food Festival started at Fairfield by Marriott

KATHMANDU, Feb 09: Fairfield by Marriott, Kathmandu has hosted an international Chinese Food Festival for the first time on the behalf of the Chinese New Year, also known as Spring Festival at Kava Restaurant. The Chinese Food Festival started on Thursday, February 8th and will continue until Saturday, February 17th. The festival offers buffet dinner along with snacks and unlimited drinks at just Rs. 1999 per person.

Guest Chef Noah Lo will be leading 10 days long Chinese Food Festival. Chef Noah introduced Chinese cuisine to Nepal by preparing a lavish variety of Chinese delicacy like Kung Pao Chicken, Ma Po Tofu, Spicy Meat Stew, Sliced Pork and Black Mushroom, Shrimp and Corn and much more. He was accompanied by Fairfield’s very own talented culinary team. The festival also included performances which depicted Chinese dance, songs and talents.

Reena Sherchan informed that Fairfield by Marriott, Kathmandu has been organizing local food festivals like Newari food festival and this time they wanted to go international so they celebrated the Spring festival to promote Chinese cuisines. Similarly, the flow of Chinese tourists has been high in Nepal. Similarly, many Chinese entrepreneurs and workers have to stay for a long time in Nepal so to provide them a family environment and joyful ambiance in Nepal along with their food culture and tradition, the Chinese New Year is being celebrated.
