Chinese tourists informed about Nepal

KATHMANDU, June 13: Nepal-China tourism promotion mission has been conducted in a bid to promote Nepali tourism in the main touristy areas of China.

Information about the tourist destinations of Nepal was shared during the programmes organized at Guangzhou and Hangzhou cities of China recently with the coordination of Nepal Association of Tours and Travel Agents (NATTA) and the joint assistance of Nepal Tourism Board, Chinese Tourism Chamber and Air China.
Key note speaker at the programme in Hangzhou was honorary consul of Shanghai, Jiangming Wu. On the occasion, he spoke on the cultural and natural beauties of Nepal and China and argued that Nepal and China are very close friends for centuries.

He further said Nepal is not only the abode of majestic mountains but also the birthplace of the Guatam Buddha. It is the unrivalled tourist destination in the world, he added.
According to him, Nepal could attract more number of Chinese tourists, because China stands second in the world to send its citizens as tourists abroad.
NATTA Chairman and team leader Madhu Sudhan Acharya said the exchange of tourists would strengthen friendship between the countries.
