Debentures issued by Global IME Bank Limited gets over subscribed

KATHMANDU, April 05: Debentures issued by Global IME Bank Limited have been oversubscribed. The bank had opened the sale by issuing Global IME Bank Debenture 2086-87 on March 14.
The bank had issued 3 million bonds with a face value of Rs 1,000 per 1,000 bonds. The issuance and sale of bonds was scheduled for March 29. There was an arrangement to apply for a minimum of 25 lots and a maximum of 1 million lots in the bonds issued by the bank. The 10-year bond has an annual interest rate of 8.5 percent and will be repaid semi-annually.
The bank had appointed Century Capital Markets Limited as the issue and sale manager. In addition, investors were able to apply online through My Share and from banks and financial institutions participating in the C-ASBA service licensed by the Nepal Securities Board and their designated branch offices.
