Delegation from NAC to go France to observe the manufacturing of aircrafts

KATHMANDU, August 10: A delegation from Nepal Airlines is set to go for France to see the manufacturing of two wide body aircrafts which it is going to add to its fleet.
Nepal’s national flag carrier Nepal Airlines made payment of 8 Billion rupees as advance to the American Company AAR to buy two aircrafts but Nepali officials hasn’t seen this plane at once.
In order to observe the construction of the aircraft a technical team from NAC will head for France within 45 days, Managing Director of NAC Sugat Ratna Kansakar said.
The Portuguese Aviation Company High Fly made the order of the two to be bought aircraft with Airbus. But the bankruptcy in the company compelled it to step back and later the company was taken over by AAR which is now selling the aircraft to Nepal Airlines.
The Aircraft which is under construction is in Toulouse city of France which has the seat capacity of 280 including the 16 business classes.
