Department of Immigration issued a travel advisory:Don't go to countries where the corona is at risk

KATHMANDU, Jan 12: The Department of  Immigration urges not to visit countries at risk of coronavirus infection unless absolutely necessary.

In a statement on Wednesday, the department requested that those planning to travel from Nepal to countries at risk of infection with the new variant not to travel except in cases of extreme need. As per the decision of the Home Minister last Monday, the department has issued a travel advisory on Wednesday.

The Government of Nepal has given continuity to the ban on direct entry to Nepal from South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Lesotho, Inwatini, Mozambique, Malawi and Hong Kong. Also, passengers who have visited those countries within three years will not be allowed to come to Nepal.
