Dharahara to be re-constructed within 3 years

KATHMANDU, August 04: The national reconstruction authority of Nepal has now set the deadline of 3 years to complete the reconstruction of Dharahara, the landmark tower in capital Kathmandu.

The landmark which fell down on 2015’s earthquake reconstruction will be aided by Nepal Telecom and it is set to present the 3D design of to be constructed landmark will be presented in the reconstruction authorities meeting.

The authority has estimated about 8 billion rupees for the reconstruction of the Dharahara and till now about 90 million rupees is collected in the fund “Mero Dharahara ma banauxu”, “I will construct my Dharahara by own.”
