Docs advise Gosainkunda pilgrims to be precautious

KATHMANDU, July 26: The doctors have advised the pilgrims planning to head to Gosainkunda to adopt precautions in order to prevent altitude sickness. It will be better to take medicines along, the doctors have advised.

Medical Officer in Rasuwa District Hospital Dr. Kamal Pokhrel has suggested the pilgrims to carry Asitazol Anaid capsules along with as there is high chance of altitude sickness above Lauri Binayak.

Pokhrel claimed that the medicine prevents water in the lungs and also advised to take two capsules of Cetamol, some packets of Jeevan Jal and bottles of water along.

Gosainkunda lies at the height of 4 thousand 380 hundred meters height. Pilgrims flock to the sacred lake at the time of Dashain and in Janai Purnima.
