Domestic Tourism May Flourish in 4 days' Leave

KATHMANDU, May 12: With the government granting public leave for the local level election on May 13, there will be 4 consecutive days off in government / public institutions.

Along with this, the employees of government / public institutions who have returned to the village to cast their votes in the election will also get the opportunity to travel.

The cabinet meeting held on Monday decided to grant public leave on May 13, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.

There is a public holiday as it is Saturday 14th. The government has already decided to grant a public holiday every Sunday with effect from May 15, even though it is a Sunday.

There is a public holiday on May 16 due to Buddha Jayanti.

However, the commission has proposed to give public leave two days before the election in the schools designated as polling stations. Even though the government has not made a decision, the polling stations will be closed for two more days.
