Dr. Badri KC announces candidacy for Chairmanship of NRNA

KATHMANDU, Oct 05: Dr. Badri KC has announced his candidacy for the Chairmanship of Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA). Organizing a program in Kathmandu on Tuesday (today), Dr. KC has announced his candidacy.
KC, who is also the Vice-Chairman of the current working committee of NRNA, said that he would play a strong role in taking the association in higher level. He said that he has been doing his best for the rights and interests of non-resident Nepalis.
‘There have been institutional efforts to bring in knowledge, experience and skills from abroad. Also, they have contributed and taken initiative in social and philanthropic work through the association, 'he said. He claims that he has succeeded in doing significant work in policy formulation in partnership with the government to solve the problem of foreign employment.
He said that the association has helped and rescued more than two hundred thousand Nepalis living in 50 countries abroad during the Corona pandemic. Under his leadership, oxygen relief cylinders and concentrators were brought to Nepal and one oxygen plant is being set up in each of the seven states.
