Finally Shree Airlines gets Air Operation’s Certificate (AOC)

KATHMANDU,August 11: Shree Airlines, the pioneer in Air Travel in some period of time and one of the first private airlines in Nepal to operate chartered helicopter services have acquired AOC for it's flights after successful test light.

With the introduction of a fleet of Bombardier CRJ aircraft, Shree Airlines has plans to expand its aviation offering to include passenger services in Nepal. These world class turbo-jet airplanes promise to take passengers into new experience than it’s ever been before in Nepal.

Anil Manandhar, Corporate Manager of Shree Airlines informed that the Airlines have got Air Operation’s Certificate (AOC) on Thursday and are to start its flight operations. “From Friday we will start scheduled flights from Bhairahawa or Nepalgung ” Manandhar said.

It has already acquired three aircraft – two 50-seater Bombardier CRJ 200s and one 70-seater CRJ-700 – to launch commercial passenger service. "Airline is set to start its scheduled flight from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur, Bhairahawa, Nepaljung and Dhangadi but it will be implemented after 3 months, he further added.
