Five-star hotel Pawan Palace to start operation from October

KATHMANDU, Jun 18: Five-star hotel, Pawan Palace, built at an investment of around 2 billion rupees is starting operation from October.

Pawan Palace Hotel will have 150 rooms which will have 35 suite rooms, 1 presidential suite room and remaining will be deluxe rooms. 90% of the construction work have already been completed and now the interior designing work is remaining. Fire protection, alarm, swimming pool, 3 restaurants, banquet hall having capacity of more than 500 people, and a conference hall are the features of the hotel that have already been completed.

Dre Mater Company from Singapore, the interior designer of various 5- star hotels, was responsible for the interior design and landscape design of Pawan Palace. Pawan Kumar Haluai is the owner of Pawan Palace. The marketing and promotion of the hotel have already been started and more than 10 bookings have already been made. The customers will be served according to the Nepali tradition and for that an international managerial team has been hired. According to the CEO of the hotel, Kevin Ma, though many hotel chains like Hilton tried to gain operation rights for the hotel, we have decided to run the hotel on our own. He said that Al-Dining Restaurant 'Olibia' is being constructed for Buddhists.

According to him, buffet containing Nepali dishes will be served in Olibia and also 80% raithane dishes from Terai, hills, and mountains are going to be served. In the hotel Amoré Terius, Italian and Mexican dishes will be served while in Lungfung Oriental, Chinese and other Oriental dishes will be served. The Bar-One Special Bar, Havana Cigar Lounge will also be included at the hotel. Mediterranean Hall having capacity of 100 tourists, Spa and Sauna, Gym are available in the hotel. More than 250 people will have employment from this hotel.
