Fraternity Bids Final Farewell to Radisson's Chair

KATHMANDU, Jan 10: Chairman of Radisson Hotel Mr. Govinda Das Shrestha has passed away on Wednesday morning at Leelawati Hospital, Mumbai. He was 87 years old and suffering from cancer.
People from all walks of life, mainly from hospitality, tourism, commerce and industry gathered at Radisson hotel this afternoon, to pay their final tribute on the body of late Shrestha.
Meanwhile, Hotel Association Nepal (HAN) has expressed its deepest sorrow over the demise of veteran hospitality through its 'Obituary'. HAN has expressed its heartfelt condolences to the family and fraternity. Also, it prayed for late Shrestha's Heavenly Abode.
HAN president Mr. Amar Man Shakya viewed that Mr. Shrestha played an important role to uplift the standards of hotel industry in Nepal. 'It is an irreparable loss to hospitality industry,' Mr. Shakya said
