Global IME Bank opens 8 new branchless banking services

KATHMANDU: Global IME Bank has opened 8 new branchless banking services from Friday.

The bank has opened new branchless banking services in Dharapani at Dhanushadham Municipality-9 of Dhanusha, Manra Shiswa Municipality-1 of Mahottari, Badagaon at Musikot Municipality-4 of Gulmi, Neta and ward no.2 at Musikot of Deurali, Garans in Katari Municipality-2 of Udaypur.

Similarly, the bank has opened new branchless banking services in Dhatiwang at Panini Rural Municipality-6 of Arghakhanchi, Baniabhar at Shivraj Municipality-9 of Kapilvastu and Haraiyapur at Chuha Municipality-7 of Kailali.

With the opens of these branchless banking services, the number of branchless banking services of the bank has reached 283.

Vishal Kumar Bhujel for branchless banking services of Dharapani under Dhalkebar branch, Shah General Stores for branchless banking services of Manara Shiswa under Bardibas branch, Badagaon under Wami branch, Bom Bahadur Chhantel for branchless banking services of Neta and Musikot under Wami branch, Madan Deep Ghimire has been appointed as a representative for branchless banking services in Deurali.

Similarly, Rajkumar Karki for branchless banking services of Garans under Katari branch, Maniram Poudel for branchless banking services of Dhatiwang under Pokharathok branch, branchless banking services of Baniabhar under Chandrauta branch, Jayanti Giri for branchless banking services of Haraiyapur under Lamki branch. According to the bank, Jai Bahadur Khatri has been appointed as a representative.

According to the bank, from branchless banking services, local residents can avail banking services through local representatives.

From this, they can open a deposit account, deposit and withdraw funds up to the specified limit, get information about the balance in their account, pay loan interest, pay Dish Home, CDMA, UTL and NTC fees, recharge mobiles, etc.

The bank has been providing banking services from more than 900 service centers including 292 branch networks and 3 international contact offices in all 77 districts of the country.
