Global IME Bank's launches Healthy Women Initiative

KATHMANDU, Aug 20: Global IME Bank Limited, in an effort to empower women, has launched the Meri Unilai Swastha Nari, a Healthy Women Initiative Campaign in coordination with the Nepal Family Planning Association under its corporate social responsibility.
Under this, the bank has organized a women's health camp at Sahare Health Post in Gurwakot Municipality of Surkhet District. Earlier, the bank had launched Muddati Savings Account to empower women financially. This is another important effort of the bank to empower women physically under the Healthy Women Initiative.
The Bank believes that the health camps will be effective for women and girls who do not have access to health services in rural and semi-urban areas and will have a positive impact on women. Keeping in view the convenience of its customers, the Bank has been conducting various programs related to the health and other issues of deprived and backward women in coordination with various organizations.
