Government opens on arrival visas with conditions

KATHMANDU, Sep 23: The government has opened on arrival visas for tourists with conditions. The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has made such an arrangement by making Order 2078 regarding the travel management of passengers arriving and departing from Nepal.
With the opening of on arrival visa with conditions, it will be easier for foreign tourists who want to come to Nepal in the approaching tourist season. According to the law of Nepal, on arrival visa (visa at the point of arrival) will be issued to the citizens of the countries in case they have completed the amount of vaccination.
In this process, the tourist has to submit the required documents for the visa along with the proof of completion of 14 days of vaccination against Covid-19. The PCR test report should also be mandatory within 72 hours before the flight check-in.
In case of mountaineering and trekking and other matters for which permission has to be obtained, permission has to be shown. Tourists will have to bring proof of hotel booking in Nepal.
