Government permits foreigners to visit Nepal from October 17

KATHMANDU, Sep 16: Foreign tourists will be permitted to visit Nepal for mountaineering and trekking from October 17. Announcing the decision of the cabinet on Tuesday, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Spokesperson of the Government Pradip Gyawali said that it was decided to allow foreigners to visit Nepal from October 17.

Every foreign national coming to Nepal has to bring a PCR negative report, which is performed within 72 hours of boarding. Necessary visa work in this regard will be done by the mission abroad, and this will be monitored by the Civil Aviation Authority. Likewise, Eighteen people, including the Prince of Bahrain, have arrived in Nepal for mountaineering.
