Govt condoles death of several people in casino hotel attack in Manila

KATHMANDU, June 3 : The government has expressed grief over the death of several people in an attack that took place at Resorts World Manila at Pasay City in Metro Manila area in the Philippines early this morning.
Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat Friday sent a message of condolence to Mr. Alan Peter Schramm Cayetano, Secretary for Foreign Affairs of the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines on the loss of lives in the attack, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In his message, Minister Mahat expressed condolences and deep sympathies to the Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Republic of Philippines and through him to the bereaved families.
Wishing for early recovery of those injured in the attack, the Minister also expressed his confidence that the perpetrators of the heinous crime will be brought to justice at the earliest.
