Guna Airlines gets permission to fly 5 J41 Jetstream aircraft

KATHMANDU, May 03: The government has given permission to Guna Airlines to add 41 Jet stream aircraft purchased from so many airlines. On March 29, Guna Airlines had sought permission to add five more J41 aircraft for domestic flights.

The permission was given by the cabinet meeting held on April 30. The government has stipulated that the additional aircrafts should be operational by April 30 next year.

Similarly, the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has directed to look into the operational base of the additional J41s at Kathmandu Airport.

At present, Guna Airlines has two aircrafts and will fly from seven aircrafts, including five purchased from Yeti Airlines.

According to Shakya of Guna Airlines, it is planned to fly within April.
