Madi Municipality has decided to construct a park by uniting places like Sankhuwasabha, Tahruthum, and the meeting point of Taplejung (Tinjure, Milke, Jaljale) where Guras is mostly found. From the discussion of first city assembly, the park is being constructed where people can observe, study and do research about Guras. The park is being constructed with the objective of conserving Guras and creating a park where all the species of Guras can be observed, Mayor Bir Lingthal said.

The municipality has started a study to build the garden, and it has been working according to the suggestions and advice of the experts. The study has shown that out of 42 species of Guras, 32 of them are found in Nepal and among them 28 species are found in the meeting point of  Taplejung (Tinjure, Milke, Jaljale). Madi Municipality has started construction of the park after finding the location to be ecologically suitable, in collaboration with Dharmadevi of Sankhuwasabha, Chainpur Municipality, Laliguras of Tehrathum, Mechyam Village Municipality, and Maiyakhola Village Municipality of Taplejung. After setting up the garden, the municipality plans to construct a Nursery and start selling and distribution of Guras.
