Halted homestay in Rasuwa resumes

RASUWA, June 30: Homestay service in the northern part of the district that remained shut after the earthquakes of April 2015 has resumed.

The service resumed following the completion of the reconstruction of the damaged building offering the facility, said Wang Tamang, Chairman of Briddhim Homestay management committee.

Lying in the lap of Langtang Mountain and three-hour walk away from Syaphrubesi, the area runs the service that offer organic food items and quality accommodation with guests having a chance of viewing surrounding beautiful scenery.

Food items include dhindo (a type of dishe made from corn flour), fresh vegetable curry and eggs among others and one can relish the taste of local chicken meat.

Efforts were on to reconstruct other damaged buildings that could accommodate approximately 100 guests at a single time, he said, adding that three of them were already under construction at present.
