HAN to conduct promotional campaign in Bangalore

KATHMANDU, Nov 14: Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN) is going to conduct promotional campaign in Bangalore with the collaboration of Nepal Tourism Board, Nepali Embassy situated in India and Nepali citizens residing in Bangalore in 19th November, 2018. HAN has planned to promote Nepal in the neighboring country in order to invite 2 million tourists in 2020.
After the visit of Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi the number of Indian tourists visiting Nepal has been increasing due to which HAN has decided to conduct B2B meeting and promotional campaigns with the famous tour operators of Bangalore in India. Similarly, HAN will conduct its Half year AGM in Lemon Tree Premier Hotel of Bangalore. More than 35 hotels will participate in the meeting.
Chairman of HAN, Amarman Shakya said that though there were various ups and downs in the tourism business we have successfully managed the association since 52 years and now we are conducting promotional campaigns to meet the government’s target of inviting 2 million tourists in year 2020, also for inviting the tourists, infrastructural development is must.
Likewise, According to General Secretary of HAN, Binayak Shah, “The government has already identified 100 new destinations and not with the help of government and private sectors we should develop the destinations.
Shreejana Rana, Vice President of HAN stated that they are conducting various campaigns to promote Nepal also Nepal Airlines have played a great role in bringing connectivity with our neighboring countries also we are marketing our country in various aspects.
HAN EC member and Former President of PATA Nepal Chapter, Prabin B Pandey conveyed the message that private and government sector should unite with each other in order to give out the best and infrastructural development is must, we should increase the capacity of our airport and provide the best facilities to our tourists.
