Hand in hand collaboration of Government and private sector of tourism

LUMBINI, Oct 01: For the sustainable development of tourism, it is necessary that government and private sector should work hand in hand. Nepal Association of Travel and Tour agent (NATTA) conducted a joint meeting in which they have decided to collaborate with government sector to make Visit Nepal 2020 campaign successful by targeting 2 million tourists.

CEO of Nepal Tourism Board, Deepak Raj Joshi said that board is working with private sectors in order to increase the number of tourist. He also emphasized on developing the infrastructures to invite 2 million tourists in 2020. General Secretary of Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Environment, State no 5, also assured the sectors to help in making Buddhist Travel Mart a grand successful event.

CN Pandey, Chairman of NATTA also drew the attention of all tourism entrepreneur to be united and urged government to help in linking Lumbini sector with tourism. Similarly, Achyut Guragain, Bhupalraj Shrestha, Santosh Pokharel, Bishnu Sharma, Maya Prashad Bhatta, Ramesh Thapa and Madhusudan Acharya focused conducting joint programs for the development of tourism.
