Hiking program to promote Visit Nepal 2020 campaign conducted in Wales

KATHMANDU, Aug 07: A hiking program was organized in Black Mountain, Wales with the aim of promoting the Visit Nepal 2020 campaign. The program was given the title "Hike for Nepal" and included a 12 km trek. The We Will Rise Foundation is conducting a similar program in Hong Kong as well.
The program was organized by the Pokhareli Forum Britain and Brecken Nepali Society and included such figures like 13-time Everest climber Furwa Tenzing Sherpa, Thaneshwor Guragain who has 16 different achievements in the Guinness Book of World Records, Founder of the We Will Rise Foundation, Tulsi Gurung, and Diirector Nirmal Shrestha and Suraj Gurung etc.
Founder of We Will Rise Foundation, Tulsi Gurung, said that the hiking program was conducted with the hope of helping the Visiit Nepal 2020 campaign. The program had the attendance of around 150 Nepalis as well as foreign citizens, the latter of which expressed sincere curiosity about Nepal. President of the Pokhareli Forum, Mann Gurung, said that it is the responsibility of Nepalis situated around the world to help the tourism promotion campaiign of the Nepal Government, and that he himself would be continually working to promote tourism in foreign countries.
