Himalaya Airlines to get delivery of another Aircraft this month

KATHMANDU, March 15 : The joint venture air service provider Himalaya Airlines is set to get the delivery of its another aircraft from airbus by end of Lunar Month.

Himalaya Airlines which added its second airbus to the fleet is set to get the delivery of another aircraft directly from the company. The Airbus has completed the manufacturing of the aircraft as per the order and will be delivered within some weeks the Airlines said.

The narrow body aircraft with call sign of A-320-214 is made in Hamburg, Germany and has successfully completed the test flight, the airlines informed. Himalaya Airlines in the time being have two aircrafts and is operating its flight in Malaysia, Qatar, Sri Lanka and Myanmar.

The airline which is in plan to start its flight to India and China is also set to flex its muscle by adding more destinations after the arrival of new aircraft. With the delivery of new aircraft set the company also has got the registration number from Nepal. The new aircraft has got the number of "9-N-ALW".

Himalaya  Airlines which came into operation nearly three years ago has is set to increase its number of aircrafts to three. With the 49% investment of Tibet Airlines Himalaya Airlines came up with flights to Doha, Qatar from 2015. Later from October 1, 2016 it added Colombo, Sri Lanka as another destination.

Now the Airlines have planned to add Dammam of Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, New Delhi, Ahmadabad and Chennai of India as new destinations in first phase. While in second phase it is planning to start its flight to Dubai, Bangkok, Beijing, Lhasa and Chhedung.

The Airlines is also in planning to add another wide body Airbus and start its flight to Japan, Korea, Europe, Australia and America.
