KATHMANDU, July 24: Home stay businesses are flourishing in Chitwan in recent years. Both internal and foreign tourists these days are interested in home stay. The number of tourists in Ayodhyapuri Intermediate Community homestay established in 2072 is also increasing. This increase in number has helped a lot to increase the living standard of the local people.

The local people are happy to get better results in few years. As the region is situated near national park, the locals had to suffer a lot but now after the operation of homestay the locals are very satisfied. The locals troubled by the wild animals are now themselves involved in the conservation, said president of the homestay, Mohan Bahadur Pun. The homestay has also helped to conserve the culture and tradition of the region.

The villagers are dedicated towards the positive welcome of the tourists. Within these 2 years, around 8 thousand visitors have come to homestay due to which they have made profit of Rs. 400,000. This place also holds cultural values so every year tourists from India also visit this place.
