KATHMANDU, Sep 15: The government has announced to open hotels, restaurants, and travel agencies from September 17. Announcing the decision of the cabinet meeting held on Monday, Spokesperson of Government Pradip Gyawali said that a decision has been made to open hotels, restaurants, and travel agencies from September 17.
But while conducting these businesses, they must follow the health standards required to prevent the coronavirus. The hotels and restaurants should manage their physical infrastructure in such a way that the customer can maintain physical distancing. The Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation will regulate whether safety measures have been taken.
All the hotels and restaurants were closed after the lockdown on March 24. In the meantime, it was decided to operate such businesses from July 30, but it could not be operated due to the ban imposed by district administration.
