Hotel established in Haramtari, Gorkha

GORKHA, July 24: The establishment of a hotel at Haramtari of the district headquarters of Gorkha is expected to be convenient for tourists arriving here.

'The Hotel Gorkha Palace' was established by four youths on a joint venture at a cost of Rs 30 million. The hotel with the capacity of accommodating 60 people has two assembly halls, a child park and massage facility as well.

According to hotel proprietor Nidhi Prasad Timilsina, he hoped that the establishment of the hotel would help promote the local tourism. With the availability of 'better' hotel facilities here, tourists arriving for the Manaslu circuit trek have started preferring to visit the Gorkha palace before the trip. Presently, it has directly employed 20 people.
