KATHMANDU, Aug 17: The Pashupati Area Development Fund has brought a plan to install gajur or spires in the houses around the Pashupati area in collaboration with Ward No. 8 of Kathmandu Metropolis. Member Secretary of the fund, Dr. Pradip Dhakal, said that despite there being a rule dictating the houses around the Pashupati area to be in classical architectural fashion, they have not been followed, which has lead to this plan.

Ward Chief Dinesh Dangol says that about 350 houses in the ward might be fitted with spires. Discussions are taking place on how to fund the project. The Pashupati Area Development Fund has sent a proposal to the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation describing the plan and requesting the government to fund it.
