KATHMANDU, May 25: Fairfield by Marriott, Kathmandu has been regularly organizing exciting food festivals. It is preparing a festival that will give the authentic taste of Hyderabadi cuisine from May 24 till June 2.

The Hyderabadi cuisine draws its flavor from two rich legacies-the Deccani cuisine of Nizams with its delectable biryani (rice flavored with meat and vegetables), haleem (pounded wheat and mutton dish), kebabs and the spicy Andhra style of food.

The 10-day-long food festival will be a one-off experience for all food enthusiasts in the Kathmandu valley. The program offered cultural performance on inaugural day. Dr. Ajay Kumar, Deputy Chief of Mission in Embassy of India, was the chief guest of the program.

After enriching experience across various hotel brands, the resident Chef Deepak took up the responsibility of leading the food feast and very delighted to present traditional Hyderabadi recipes with the team at Kava Restaurant.

The buffet priced at NRS.1999/-(including taxes) per person has a huge variety to offer such as biryani, Pattar ka gosht, Murgh Korma, Nalli Nihari, along with servings of unlimited drinks from 6:30pm till 10:30pm.
