Indian Citizen Murdered in Amadablam Hotel, Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, Dec 28: An Indian citizen has been murdered in Amadablam Hotel situated in Gaushala. The Indian citizen, Aditya Gurung, was reportedly murdered last Wednesday night.

Gurung had been severely injured after a beating on Wednesday around midnight and had been admitted to KMC Hospital for treatment. He had been staying at that hotel since Wednesday.

Police has arrested Dongi Sherpa and five workers from the hotel on charge of murdering Gurung.

According to preliminary investigation, there had been an argument and subsequently a physical fight between Gurung and the hotel administration, informed Anupam Shrestha, DSP of Metropolitan Police Range, Gaushala.

“It appears that there was an argument between Gurung and the hotel administration. We are currently conducting further investigation.”
