Interest groups stress the need for development of tourism infrastructure in Province 7

DHANGADI, July 17: Tourism interest groups have spoken about the need for developing a master plan for the development of tourism, tourism infrastructure, and promotion at Province 7 .
Participants have stressed on establishing a Tourism Board office in Province 7, further development of the Gauriphanta border and Gaddachauki border, a north-south road network connecting to the Hindu pilgrimage location Mansarovar, etc.
During the discussion, Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Rabindra Adhikari, said that the government is working with a detailed plan for the development and promotion of tourism in the state. He explained that the government is moving forward with plans of tourism development with collaboration from the private sector, stating "Province 7 is being allocated a larger budget than earlier years for the development of tourism."
The program also had the presence of the Managing Director of the Tourism Board Dipak Joshi and the Minister of Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment of Province 7, Maya Bhatta.
