International hotel brand chains expanding in Nepal

KATHMANDU, Feb 07: The world's largest hotel brand chains have been expanding in Nepal for the past few years. They have started investing and expanding networks in Nepal, with confidence that political transition has come to an end and now Nepal has become a tourist center.
Such hotels, which are networked around the world, have been operating in Nepal in the past as well. All five star hotels that are going to be operated in Kathmandu Valley are international chains hotels.
Some of these hotels have foreign investment and some of them have been established as franchises. Four of the five chains being expanded in Kathmandu belong to Marriott International. The Fairfield by Marriott is already under operation, whereas five-star the Marriott is under construction.
Australia's Silver Heritage Group has operated five star-level resorts in Bhirawa. The process of opening five star hotels in Jhapa has also been introduced by Silver Heritage, which is expanding in various cities of Asia. Silver Heritage also have plans to increase investment from Tiger Palace Brand.
Similarly, Everest Hospitality is bringing Marriott Hotel in Nagpokhari of Kathmandu. Also, Aloft and Ramada is another international hotel chain arriving in Nepal.

Likewise, construction for The Hilton Hotel is taking place and is set to end by 2020 and the biggest hotel chain of India, Leela Palace has also arrived here. A resort is also going to be constructed in Namobuddha, Kavre, to be operated by Dusti International and Zinc Hotel.
