International hotel chain Ramada to enter Nepal

KATHMANDU, Jan 28: The international chain hotel brand Ramada is set to arrive in Nepal by the end of 2018. According to the managing director of Thamel Plaza Hotel and Suites, Sagar Pangeni, this brand is going to be brought in Nepal for the first time by Thamel Plaza Hotel.
The construction of the hotel at Thamel is 70% completed and the hotel will start operation by the end of this year. Around 1 billion 200 million rupees has been invested in the project. The hotel consists of 90 rooms including deluxe and super deluxe rooms and meets all the international standards. The hotel is going to be established as “Ramada Incore Thamel”.
International chain brands like Aloft, Mariott, Mulberry, are being attracted to Thamel in recent times. Ramada is an American chain hotel brand, which is operating more than 8 hundred hotels in 63 different countries of the world. The company has experience of more than half a century and is going to enter Nepal's hospitality service for the first time.
