Investigation committee formed to study Altitude Air helicopter crash

KATHMANDU, Sep10: The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has formed a 3 member investigation commission to examine the Altitude Air helicopter crash that took place on Sunday, September 9.
The team is headed by Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Buddhi Sagar Lamichhane. Other members of the commission includes Senior Captain Siddhartha Gurung from Simrik Air, Chief Engineer Meghendra Kumar Shrestha from Summit Air.
Accident of Altitude Air at SatyaDevi Area forest of Dhading district at 5500 feet killing 6 peoples on board. There were seven people on-board including one crew. The deceased on the crash are identified as Captain Nischal K.C, Nepali citizens Chowang Sherpa, Dilli Bahadur Gurung, Hira Sherpa, Sunil Tamang and Japanese citizens Hiromi Komatsu, according to the statement released by Ministry.
