Investment flows in Nepali hotels, numbers of star hotels on rise

KATHMANDU, July 11: The tourism sector of Nepal is reviving after the tremor of earthquake and the trade embargo in 2015 and this revilement has attracted more investment in the sector. Nepal is set to get 28 new star hotels as the result of back to track notion.

Amongst the 28 hotels set to make debut in Nepali market 10 are five star, 7 are four star and 11 are of three star class. In capital Kathmandu only 6 five star hotels are set to make debut in Nepali market. In the previous year, 44 new tourist hotels started service in Nepal.

Crown Imperial in Ravi Bhawan, City Hotel in Kalimati, Everest Hospitality in Naxal, Jagdamba Hospitality in Naxal, Aloft hotel in Thamel, Aakala Hotel in Dhumbarahi and Sherpa Hotel are the hotels waiting to make debut in Kathmandu.

Rara Project, Hotel Tiger One, Hotel Pawan Palace Lumbini, Tiger Palace Resort in Kotihawa of Rupandehi, Vegas City Entertainment are the big hotels set to step into Nepali market, the Tourism Department has informed.
