Japan concerned of reconstruction of Kathmandu and Patan durbar squares

KATHMANDU, July 14: Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Masashi Ogawa paid a courtesy call on National Reconstruction Authority's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr Govinda Raj Pokharel on Friday.

During the meeting, Japanese Ambassador Masashi enquired about the mobilization of financial assistance provided by Japan for the reconstruction of Kathmandu and Patan durbar squares.

On the occasion, Dr Pokharel claimed that there has been substantial progress on the reconstruction of earthquake-devastated structures of late and assured him of expedition of rebuilding efforts in coming days.
