Jungle Festival to be organized in Pokhara

POKHARA, Feb 21 : Pokhara is speeding against the time to complete the preparations to hold Jungle Festival. The fest which is due to be organized by Parichaya Nepal is at final stage.

The event which is scheduled to be held in Pokhara’s Nayabazar Peace Batika will feature various programs of entertainment and creation based on the theme of Jungle. The festival set to start from Feb 22 will be held for 10 days. Parichaya Nepal has been organizing this type of fest in every 2 years interval.

The organizers have used the left over and the trees that are of no use for the recreation of the people to give likely feeling of being in a jungle.

The visitors also will get the chance to meet the endangered Kusunda tribe and other recreational activities such as Indo- Nepal Wrestling, Fashion Show, Drama performance, poem recitation and robotic horror house.

About 50 stalls will be showcased in the festival. The organizers has expected the turnover of about 1 crore and has expened about 80 lakhs for the preparation.
