Jyoti Bikas Bank to provide loans up to Rs. 1.5 million to the restaurants of REBAN

KATHMANDU, July 12: Jyoti Bikas Bank has agreed to provide loans of up to Rs 1.5 million for five years to restaurants affiliated to Restaurant and Bar Association Nepal (REBAN).
Deputy CEO Paras Raj Kandel informed that the bank is going to give unauthorized loan on the recommendation of REBAN with the objective of protecting the restaurant business which is affected by the corona virus pandemic.
This service will be available to restaurants across the country affiliated to REBAN. Vice President Sangharsha Bista informed that an agreement has been reached between the bank and REBAN regarding giving and taking loans. The restaurant has been closed following a government ban on the spread of the corona virus.
