Lonely Planet : Lumbini the Asia’s best destination for 2018

KATHMANDU, July 13: Lonely Planet, one of the biggest publishers of travel guide books in the world, the Lumbini has figured in Lonely Planet’s top seven “2018 Best in Asia” list, a collection of 10 of the best destinations to visit in the continent for the year.
The website lonely planet which made the list public , has ranked Lumbini in the seven place on its list of destinations in Asia for 2018
Busan in South Korea as the best place to visit in Asia this year. Uzbekistan took out second place thanks to its ancient cities and architecture and the hot spot of the moment — Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam was placed third seen as bringing the “cool” factor to this supercity.
“From Nagasaki in Japan, to Arugam Bay in Sri Lanka,” Chris says, “this is a line-up to inspire a multitude of travellers — whether they’re based in Asia, or maybe they’ve already visited some of the region’s heavy-hitting destinations,” Lonely Planet’s Asia-Pacific Media Spokesperson Chris Zeiher has said.
