Marriot Kathmandu celebrates "Safety Awareness Program and Safety Week"

KATHMANDU, July 15 : Marriott Kathmandu Hotel in Nepal has marked Safety and Awareness Program and Safety Week from 2nd to 7th of July.
The event was organized by the Everest Hospitality and Hotels Pvt. Ltd which is working for their upcoming new project with Marriott International. The new project is designed to be the best among the existing 5 star hotels in Nepal.
"The hotel is designed by world renowned Architects, Interior Designers and other international consultants. Marriott Kathmandu will have over 200 world class rooms and suites. Among the food and beverage options the hotel will have a 24 hour operational multi cuisine restaurant and a specialty Pan Asian restaurant. The hotel will provide big banqueting and meeting facilities. The hotel will also have an infinity pool and a state of are gymnasium and spa and will open by the end of 2018," The statement claims.
The organizer has informed that the objective of the program was to spread awareness on how “THE IGNORANCE” on minor accidents some time turns into a major accident or fatal also the organizers Everest Hospitality and Hotels Pvt. Ltd claimed they took the initiative to adopt the Safety First policy where the safety norms are implemented on a daily basis.
All banners & Safety slogans were displayed on site from 30th June, 2017. Sticker/ badges were provided to staff (owner/ contractor) to pin it or to paste it on Helmets from 30th June, 17 which will be displayed for a month minimum. With the help of CE/ KnS/ Microtech, display of banners & slogans were extended on site.
Presentation of safety awareness was provided to the workers on site followed by question and answer session on July 7, 2017. Mr. Ujjwal from CE Constructions, Mr. Sumit from KnS and Mr. Nandkishor Prajapat from Microtech presented certificates with speech and promoted the safety awareness.
