MiFi Communication Pvt. Ltd. starts open WiFi service at Pokhara

KATHMANDU, July 18: MiFI Communication Pvt. Ltd., Kathmandu, has recently started offering open WiFi services in 6 different places of Pokhara. These include the Talbarahi Temple premises and foot track at Lakeside, Prithivi Chowk, Chipledhunga, Pokhara Tourist Bus Park, and Janapriya Campus premises.
Manager of MiFi Communication, Nawaraj Shrestha, said that the open WiFi service is as efficient as traditional WiFi services. Users can log into the WiFi service by connecting to WiFi named "MiFi Zone" and entering one's SSID details. The service has been started in Pokhara with the focus on the ideas of Smart Tourism and Digital Nepal. Shrestha said that the open WiFi service will soon be started at Kathmandu and other places of Nepal.
Currently, users of the open WiFi service at Pokhara are getting internet acces at speeds from 354 kbps to 512 kbps
