Minister of Tourism announces collaboration with Photojournalists' Club for Visit Nepal 2020 promotion

KATHMANDU, Aug 02: The Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Rabindra Adhikari, said that the ministry will collaborate with the Photojournalists' Club to make Visit Nepal 2020 Year a success.

Minister Adhikari made the announcement at the inauguration program of the exhibition from the Photography Competition organized by IME-Global Bank on Wednesday. He also said that he would make an effort to make the profession of photojournalism more commercially viable, stating that the ministry will pay photojournalists favorable fees for their services.

The photo exhibition is taking place at the Nepal Art Council, Babarmahal, from August 1-6. The exhibition features winners from 7 different categories including Experience Nepal Culture and Tourism, Nepal Telecom Nature and Wildlife, IMS Daily Life, Arghakhachi Cement News Photo, Shikhar Insurance Nepal Smile, Dish Home Action Sports and Neptos Photo Story, to a total of 160 photo exhibits, informed the president of Photojournalists Club Nepal, Bikash Karki.
