More than 100 million revenue collected from tourists visiting Khumbu region

SOLUKHUMBU, May 14: More than 100 million revenue is being collected from the tourists for entering Khumbu region by Khumbu Pasanglahmu Village Municipality. Altogether, they have collected 101,236,000 rupees within the first 9 months of the fiscal year.
Khumbu Pasanglahmu Village Municipality has been collecting 2 thousand rupees from the tourists for entering the region from fiscal year 2043-75. 92,312,000 rupees has been collected from the Lukla Tourist fee collection counter and 8,926,000 has been collected from Tourist fee collection counter of Manjo. The money collected has been allocated in the infrastructural development of the region.
Altogether 50 thousand 6 hundred and 18 tourists visited Khumbu region till mid of April.
