Muktinath Temple to be reopened from September 26

KATHMANDU, Sep 22: The famous Muktinath Temple in Mustang, known as the Trans-Himalayan District, will be opened to the public from September 26.
Employees who have been vaccinated against corona and the general public will have easy access to the temple. The Covid-19 Crisis Management Committee has decided to reopen the temple, which has been closed for six months. Chief District Officer of Mustang, Srinath Poudel, said that the temple, which has been closed since last April after the Corona pandemic, will be reopened to the public for worship.
He said that a meeting of the Covid-19 Crisis Management Committee held in Mustang on Tuesday decided to open the temple saying that the infection rate has decreased. He said that arrangements have been made to enter the district only on the basis of the PCR test report.
